Here we go again, time for another rant!
If you are a reader of this blog you probably know my car, it’s old ,there is always something that needs to be fixed and i totally love it.
Anyways, there is this one gearbox mounting bracket that is completely broken and really needs to be replaced. I’d usually do this myself or with the help of my stepdad but this bracket is hard to replace without a welder and a nut splitter tool and especially impossible without some kind of lifting platform. Of course i don’t have any of that (yet).
So because this car repair shop – Schaller Leonberg – was recommended to me by my stepdad and since we get 10% off of the labor costs involved, i thought i’d consult them about the whole problem and have them fix it.

Ok, i’ve just decided that what this blog needs, is much more opinion-discussion stuff.
Here is a good base, something i’ve wanted to say in public for a while:
…ich finde die ganzen Warnschilder nervig. Wenn einer sowas nachmacht ohne über die Folgen nachzudenken, dann nennt sich sowas natürliche Auslese. Hat früher auch wunderbar geklappt, aber heute muss man für jede Gefahr ein Schild irgendwo hinpappen, damit die Leute gar nicht erst zum nachdenken animiert werden…

For our non-german speaking readers, this translates into (NOT an exact translation) :
It’s people’s own fault if they do something stupid and suffer from it. Don’ try to warn them, it’s natural selection if they die. Stop putting warning signs everywhere and people will finally start to think again.
This interpretation might be a little out of context and offending, not that i care anyways, it’s just what i wanted to say.
So yeah, if people do something stupid, e.g. Perform something they’ve seen on Mythbusters or delete the contents of their harddrives or fuck with the mafia, it’s their own fucking fault. Let them suffer from it and they will learn. If it is too late for them to learn from it, others will see the mistkaes they’ve made and learn from it at least.
To sum my rant up:
Remove warning signs -> People die when doing stupid things -> Less stupid people
