Games Com and Games Com Camp (0)

As everyone who was not living under a rock most likely noticed, it was time for the games com again. This year in Cologne instead of Leipzig and with even more awesomeness.
Because i’m way too lazy to book a hotel room and because camping is much more fun, i packed up my tent and went to the Games Com Camping area.
It instantly turned out to be a good choice to go to the camping area, because i quickly met new friends who also had a lot of booze and smokeables with them. Then later the first evening, the german tv channel ZDF arrived and interviewed me, because they were appearantly looking for a stereotypical nerd. This is awesome.
I actually didn’t see much of the convention itself because i’m lazy and all that. Instead i met some friends i’ve known from teamspeak and such for a while and together with them i got some really neat ‘exclusive’ access to some EA things.
It was great being able to play Bad Company 2 without having to wait in a line at all, while the normal proletariat had to wait in line for about 4 hours. We also got to talk to Gordon Van Dyke, one of DICE’s great Devs, at the Community party on saturday.
